Welcome to the Psychotherapy and Psychiatry Research Lab!
Our unit operates in collaboration between the University of Haifa, the Department of Community Mental Health, and the Clalit Health Services, Shalvata Mental Health Center, Israel. With the aim of advancing interdisciplinary research, our lab focuses on the interplay between micro processes taking place in psychotherapy, and macro processes occurring in the public mental healthcare system. As such, the lab employs research–practice integration model, whereby timely clinical challenges inform the scientific agenda, while empirical findings in turn guide clinical practice.
